Lorraine American Cemetery will participate in European Heritage Days 2026, an annual initiative that encourages the public to discover and better understand cultural and historical heritage. This year’s initiative will explore how the cemetery commemorates with dignity and passes on the memory of service members who made the ultimate sacrifice fighting for freedom.
Through interactive guided tours in French, visitors will explore how Lorraine American Cemetery preserves the memory of the service members who made the ultimate sacrifice during World War II. The tours will examine the responsibility of remembrance, and the role this memorial site play in transmitting history to future generations.
