The Avenue, which connects Madingley village with the A14, will be partially closed beginning February 20, 2017. The section of road affected runs from the junction with the A14 to the junction with Dry Drayton Road.  As a consequence, there will be no access onto the A14 from The Avenue, or vice versa. Detour signs will be in place.

Traffic travelling towards the A14 will be diverted via Dry Drayton Road. Traffic intending to travel onto the Avenue from the A14 will be diverted via Oakington Road. Work is expected to be complete by 2019.

Direct access to the cemetery and its car park will not be affected.
